About

At La Puerta Spanish Center, we believe learning Spanish should be an adventure filled with discovery, creativity, and connection. Our name, La Puerta—which means “The Door”—reflects our mission to open doors to new cultures, new opportunities, and a lifelong love of language. Through engaging lessons, music, games, movement, conversation, and cultural experiences, we create an environment where students feel excited to learn and confident using Spanish in meaningful ways. Whether joining us for semester classes, summer camps, or virtual learning, every student is welcomed with encouragement, enthusiasm, and plenty of ¡diversión!
Proudly serving families throughout Parker County and beyond, La Puerta is more than a Spanish program—it's a community where language comes to life. We believe the best learning happens when students are actively engaged, having fun, and building real connections to the language and cultures they are exploring. Our goal is not just to teach Spanish, but to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a broader view of the world—one hola, gracias, and ¡sí se puede! at a time.

She has experience teaching Spanish in grades K-12 in the public school system in Texas. Her interest in Spanish has taken her to Spain, Argentina, and Mexico. She lived in Mexico City for 2 years where she was immersed in the language and culture as she lived with Mexican families.
